Just in time for Michigan Wine Month, Vinotecca debuts a brand new look and features local wines, custom infused cocktails and an expanded Belgian beer menu.

Visitors who walk into the Royal Oak based wine bar and restaurant from Main Street will notice a revamped modern lounge, complete with six new high-backed, dark leather booths lining walls, pendant lights dropping from the ceiling to illuminate the bar and refinished wood floors to complete the sleek feel.

Behind the bar, patrons will find the walls lined carefully with chosen wines, a curated list of the best Belgian beers and custom-infused liquor for Vinotecca’s house-made cocktails. “We have so much more to offer than just wine," said Managing Partner David Ritchie, "We wanted to really highlight the best of all that we do."

Situated next door to Belgian-inspired Bastone Brewery, Vinotecca honors the tradition by creating an extensive list of 26 Belgian ales. The Parisian nightlife of Commune Lounge comes upstairs at Vinotecca in the form of craft cocktails created with custom infusions. And Vinotecca’s lower level, complete with a wine cellar, features a newly refurbished VIP room for private parties. It comes complete with a fireplace and views and access to neighboring Commune Lounge. For Michigan Wine Month, Vinotecca Manager Brent Stevens has created an exclusive list of the finest, rarest Michigan wines unlikely to be found anywhere but in the collection of the most devoted Michigan wine connoisseur. The menu is offered at a reduced in price for Michigan Wine Month at Vinotecca. It includes:

Brys Estate - Pinot Noir Reserve ’08, $52 per bottle, $13 per glass
L. Mawby - Blanc de Blanc ’07, per bottle, $36 per bottle, $9 per glass
